Terms of sale

1. Who we are

BuyABuild is a trading name of Collinghamco ("we", "us", "our"). Collinghamco is the seller of every business listed on this site and the party you contract with when you buy.

Collinghamco is not registered for VAT. No VAT is added to any price shown, and the price you see is the total amount payable.

2. What we sell

We build complete online businesses and sell them whole. A sale includes the trading domain, brand, website and codebase, email account, cloud drive of documents and assets, social channels, supplier accounts where transferable, and the handover checklist recorded in the data room for that business.

Each business is sold once, to one buyer, on a first-completed-payment basis.

3. Public listings and the data room

Public listings are deliberately masked. Sector, category, indicative performance bands and what is included are provided so you can judge fit. Domains, brand names, screenshots and evidence documents are not published.

Full detail is released in the data room after you register, apply and are manually verified. Information in the data room is confidential and shared for assessment only. Access is personal, logged, time-boxed and may be withdrawn.

Public figures are indicative. Nothing on this site is a warranty, a forecast, or financial or investment advice.

4. Verification

Buying requires an account and approval of your application. We may decline an application, and we are not obliged to give reasons. An approval grants data room access only; it is not an offer, reservation or contract of sale.

5. Price and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and payable in full through our Stripe checkout before handover begins. We do not offer finance, instalments or partial payment.

Card details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store them. A sale is only completed once payment has cleared.

Payment is taken only after verification and only from the verified buyer account. We may cancel and refund a payment that arrives from an unverified or third-party account.

6. Handover

After cleared payment we transfer the assets on the handover checklist and confirm completion in writing. Transfers of domains and social accounts can depend on third-party registrar and platform timelines, which we do not control; we complete our side promptly and keep you informed.

You are responsible for changing passwords and recovery details once an asset is transferred to you.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Before handover begins you may cancel for a full refund. Once handover has started, a sale is final, because the assets are transferred irreversibly.

Where you buy as a consumer, you acknowledge that the business and its assets are digital content supplied immediately once handover starts, and that you lose the statutory right to cancel at that point.

If we cannot deliver an asset we promised in the data room, we will either complete the transfer another way or refund the affected value. Our liability is limited to the price you paid for that business.

8. What we do not promise

We sell a built business and its assets, not a guaranteed income. Past traffic, revenue and ranking figures are evidence of what happened, not a promise of what will happen under your ownership.

We are not responsible for third-party platform policy changes, supplier decisions, hosting or payment provider availability after handover.

9. Your conduct

• Do not attempt to identify, contact or trade with a business, its suppliers, customers or staff outside this marketplace.
• Do not copy, scrape, screenshot, forward or reuse anything from a listing or data room.
• Do not attempt to access a data room you have not been granted, or share your access with anyone else.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, and our total liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the price paid for that business.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you buy.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
